I didn't know Lori very well, but when I found out at the 10-yr reunion that she'd already passed on, I was very sad. I remember her as always being quiet, yet very kind. Always had a nice smile when you said hi to her in the halls. I hope more classmates who knew her better will share responses so we can fill up her page, and honor her memory. Blessings to her family, Candy Gremler
Wow, were to start? Lori was truly a gentle flower. She was kind, soft spoken, smart, always well meaning, and more. I loved having her in class as she was so applied in thought, deomonstrative of her knowelege, yet quiet in presence. I admired Lori then and I aways will. Over the years my high school crush on her has not lessened. She is missed and may God hold her close in heaven.
Lori was a good friend and I still think about her. I remember telling her "Your hair is always perfect! How do you do that??" :-) Her sister wrote me a letter after she passed away. I was at Ft. Rucker, Alabama, at the time and will never forget when I received that letter. I will miss her always!
Lori and I became friends in the first grade (Lynwood Elementary). She was the first friend I made after moving to Spokane from New Jersey. We spent many hours after school playing Fish and Speed on the floor of my Grandma's livingroom. We attended each others slumber parties and loved to play dress-up. I was thrilled when she made the move to Mead Schools at the same time I did.Lori's life was not easy but she never complained. As others have mentioned, she was smart, lovely, and kind with a gentle spirit. I always thought of her as Snow White when we were kids. It was heart breaking to hear of her death at 24. God's peace be with you and your family. You are missed Lori.
