Dave Dill

Visitation for David Dean Dill, 40, will be Monday from 9-10 a.m. at Brown's Funeral Home in Camas. Service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial at Camas Cemetery will follow the service.

 Mr. Dill, a former 30-year Spokane resident, died Wednesday from lung cancer. He was born in 1962 in Santa Ana, Calif.

 In 1980 he graduated from Mead High School.and attended Salk Junior High School and Ridgeview Elementary School in Spokane.

 He had lived in Camas for the last two years with his wife of six years, Brenda.

 Mr. Dill was the foreman for the Oregon Golf Club, where he was named the employee of the month three times, as well as the employee of the year. An avid bowler, he was named to the Clark County All-Stars for Timber Lanes in 1996 and 1997, bowled a 232 average and bowled a 300-game six times. He also enjoyed fishing, golfing and the outdoors.

 Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Nicole Hannon, serving in the Air Force, and Judy Dill of Spokane; one son, Sean Hannon of Camas; one sister, Debra Tilton of Ridge, Md.; and his parents, Donald and Joan Dill of Spokane, one uncle, Scott Dill of Tulsa, Okla.

 Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice.

Dave and I became friends in our senior year when we were both on Mead's Bowling Team.  Things I remember most about Dave was his easy-going attitude and great sense of humor.  He always had a joke or funny comment that always made me laugh.
