SWENSON, Rodney Lewis "Rod"

August 21, 2016 

Rod grew up on Green Bluff. He attended Colbert Elementary School and Mead High School where he enjoyed playing football, baseball and wrestling. Shortly after high school he proudly joined the United States Marine Corp, known to all as Private First Class RL Swenson.
Rod is survived by his mother Donna; brothers Tim and Bob; sister Denise. Rod leaves behind a son Jesse and daughter Samantha. His father Herman preceded Rod in death.
Final resting place will be at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery in Medical Lake,WA.
A Memorial Service for Rod will be held on Saturday, September 10th at 11:00 am at the Green Bluff Community United Methodist Church, officiated by Pastor Helen Dunlap.
