Mike Goolie

Friday Nov 3, 2023 was the 29th anniversary of my first date with Mike Goolie We celebrated 24 years of marriage this summer that brought us two amazing daughters, Madeline and Isabel.

Mike passed away yesterday Nov 4, 2023 after fighting cancer for 2 1/2 years. He was so strong in conquering and enduring surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation, and immunotherapy.

He set goals to be with his girls, family, and friends at many milestone events in our lives these past couple of years.

He was a private person and wasn’t on social media and didn’t talk much out of his circle in regards to his cancer.

My girls and I want to thank all of our friends, family, doctors, nurses, medical staff, church, neighbors, teachers, professors, artists/galleries, coaches, teammates, and basically anyone who has stepped in to help us along the way.

His absence is overwhelming to me today but I feel him in my every breath.

I will share the date/time/place of his celebration of life planned for mid- December in a couple of days.
